Get started with Gatherly in 5 minutes.

Quick Start Guide

This guide will walk you through the core features of Gatherly so you can start collecting documents from clients right away.

Sign in to your account

After signing in, you'll land on the Dashboard.

Dashboard shows you:

  • Recent Activity - Latest updates on your Document Requests
  • Pending Requests - Requests waiting for client response
  • Quick Actions - Shortcuts to common tasks

Explore Templates

Templates are reusable Document Request definitions that specify what documents and information you need to collect.

Click Templates in the sidebar

Browse the available templates

Click on a template to see its structure

Go to Templates to see your templates, or browse the Template Library.

View Your Clients

Clients are the people you send Document Requests to.

Click Clients in the sidebar

View your existing clients

Click Add Client to add a new one

Go to Clients to manage your clients.

Create a Document Request

A Document Request is what you send to a client to collect documents.

Click Document Requests in the sidebar

Click New Request

Select a client and template

Review and send

Your client will receive an email with a Secure Link to complete the request.

Go to New Intake to create your first request.

Track Progress

Once a request is sent, you can track its progress:
